All I wanted is a lot of veggies and soup for dinner.
Seven bone beef boiled with peppercorn and onions for 2 hours or so (till the beef is tender enough to eat). For shorter boiling time you could use pressure cooker. Add veggies starting from carrots, potato, red bellpepper, petchay and napa cabagge. Season with fishsauce. If you want you could use salt instead of fishsauce (patis) and extra ground pepper. After adding the napa cabbage to the dish make sure to remove the pot from the heat. That will avoid the veggies from over cooking. Also you can remove all the veggies from the pot and place on a separate bowl and serve as a side dish with fishsauce for dipping.
