This recipe I learned from a co-employee years ago. She is Viet and I tried some of her cooking. The marinade ingredients are simple and most Pinoy household have in there pantry.
Ground lemon grass bought from the local Asian store in the neighborhood found in the frozen isle.
4 lbs. pork chop
1 cup fish sauce
2 tablespoon ground lemon grass
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup cooking oil
Mix all above ingredients.
Adding sugar depends on how sweet you want it.
Rub the marinade in the meat and leave it in the fridge till your ready to grill. That simple!
