Pork Inasal Recipe









Ingredients:

2 lbs pork butt

1/2 Filipino vinegar


1/4 cup soy sauce


1 tablespoon chopped ginger


6 pieces garlic clove, chopped


3 tablespoons brown sugar


5 tablespoons calamansi juice


1 tablespoon salt


barbecue stick





Cooking Direction:

Using a mixing bowl mix all ingredients. 

Cut pork into thin slices. 

Using the mixture marinate the pork for at least 4 hours.

*Soak bbq stick overnight to avoid burning.*

For Basting: (achuete oil)


Dilute 1 teaspoon achuete powder on 1/2 cup of cooking oil. Stir constantly until the oil turns orange.

Grill pork, turning it over every 5 minutes while basting constantly with achuete oil.


Serve hot with a side of achara (papaya pickles) and steam rice.
