A must try recipe. Taste like restaurant or store bought for a lot lesser price. So easy to make and worth the time. Great for parties or any gathering. Try it!

2 lbs. chicken wings

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

pinch of paprika powder

pinch of crush pepper (or more)

4 tablespoon cornstarch

2 cups cooking oil

chopped green onion for garnish

For Glazing:

1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1/2 cup banana ketchup

1 tablespoon brown sugar

salt and ground pepper to taste

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup water

Cooking Direction:

Season chicken wings with salt, pepper, paprika and crushed pepper.
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

Heat the cooking oil in medium low heat using a deep pot.
Dredge the chicken in cornstarch. Deep fry for 10 minutes or till chicken is fully cooked and crispy.
Remove chicken and place in a plate lined with paper towel to remove excess oil.

Prepare the glaze by mixing the water, bbq sauce, ketchup, sugar, salt, pepper and butter in a small sauce pan.
Simmer in medium low heat. Keep stirring till sauce thickens.

Place fried chicken in a bowl. Add the glaze and toss until the wings are fully coated.
