1 lb ground beef
1 lb sayote, cut into bite size
1 small red bell pepper, julienne
1 stem lemon grass, cut into 4
1 cup pepper leaves or malunggay
1 thumb size ginger, sliced thin
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, cut into 4
1 tablespoon cooking oil
salt and ground pepper to taste
3-4 cups of water
Saute ginger, garlic and onions in oil till caramelized.
Add ground beef, saute till golden brown in medium low heat.
Add lemon grass and water and bring to boil in medium low heat for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Add sayote, bell peppers and pepper leaves.
Simmer for few more minutes till vegetables are fully cooked.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
