My Top 12 Filipino Chicken Recipes




Here are my top 12 Filipino favorite chicken dishes. My favorite Filipino chicken recipes are simple using basic ingredients yet rich in flavor. The recipes does not call for lots of vegetables and mostly marinated and fried or broiled or grilled. 

This list of chicken recipes are my comfort food not only growing up in Iloilo City but also here in the US. The recipes has been modified to fit my family's taste bud.

Crispy Fried Chicken

Fried Chicken is one of my kids favorite. This chicken recipe is not only good but also easy to make and full of flavor. The chicken is marinated overnight with spices, coated and deep fried until crispy. Give it a try and let me know. Hope you like it.

Chicken Adobo is good but adding coconut milk makes it better. This Chicken Adobo is cooked Filipino Adobo style finished with coconut milk that made this dish more flavorful.

Turbo Broiler Chicken or Chicken broiled in a turbo is delicious. Reminds me of whole Filipino barbecue chicken stuck in long bamboo grilled slowly in charcoal. Turbo broiler is used instead of grilling in charcoal or oven. It takes at least 2 hours to make a delicious turbo broiled chicken but you will surely like it.

Pandan Chicken is one of those party food that is easy to make and very tasty. Makes a great appetizer or finger food. Chicken is marinated then wrapped in pandan leaves and deep fried.
